Mind Blowing Facts about Chromebooks
Kia ora I’m Dale and this blog post is about chromebook shortcuts. It will include all of the shortcuts on the chromebooks. We have been learning this in class. This post will make it easier for you to use your chromebook.
I did really well on my presentation and I learnt a lot of things like how to duplicate things faster.
It was hard trying to make the right arrows point at the right places on the slide.
In the future I will use the shortcuts to make it easier for me.
Is there anything I need to improve on my digital dig presentation?

Interesting Digital Dig
In Te Ngahere some of our students have been doing a digital dig.
A digital dig is where you go to do short cut for your Chromebook. The first thing we had to do was
make a copy of the doc and then we had to drag the arrows to
the keys in the right places. We were learning this because it is
easier to use and faster.

Technology
Last Wednesday all year 7 & 8’s went to Technology in Morewa. At Technology we were creating pewter jewelry. Pewter Jewelry is jewelry that you make with metal. You have to melt the metal on a hot flame in the pan. You then have to pour it between some wood to make the shape you are looking for. Put a hole through, tie a string through and knot it together. Then you are finished you are looking cool.
Technology
On Wednesday we went to technology at Moerewa School.
Technology is where us year 7 & 8’s go to do things like
woodwork and baking. Woodwork is where you go to learn about
how to use power tools and hand tools and you get to build things
out of wood. Baking is the class opposite woodwork and that is
where you got to learn how to bake things like cakes, cupcakes
and other things. At tech I created a necklace that looked like
maui’s hook but smaller. I can’t wait to go back to have more fun.

Walk in the Bush
In Te Ngahere we have been trying to design our class to make it look like the bush so we went for a walk into the bush to get ideas for our class room. Once we got to the bush we had to scrub our shoes with the scupper so that we didn't bring any germs in to the bush that will kill all the plants and trees. In the bush we saw a lot of things like a river, trees, leaves, logs we even saw a tree growing on another tree so that we could get ideas for in class. We came back and started talking about it. I really wanted to go back into the bush to find more cool things.

Athletics Day
Kia ora bloggers last week we went to athletics at Bledisloe domain. Before we left we had to say the role and have karakia. I really like athletics because I can do my favorite activities like long jump, sprints and relays and Hurdles. I am not that good at shot put or high jump but I think that I did really well in long jump and hurdles. Do you have a favorite sport? Did you enjoy my blog post. Thanks for reading my blog. Bye.
Chuck Close Art
Kia ora bloggers. At Paihia School in Te Ngahere we have been doing Chuck Close art. For Chuck Close art you get a piece of paper with some squares and you have to color the dark parts of the paper a dark color and color the light parts of the paper light colors. After coloring in the squares you connect all the paper together and it makes a picture. Chuck close art is really fun. Did you enjoy my blog post. Bye.
