Popping Pop Art

Kia ora my name is Dale and in Te Ngahere we have been learning about Roy Lichtenstein. Roy Lichtenstein is a famous artist, he did not just paint he also did sculptures, murals, prints and ceramics. One of Roy Lichtenstein paintings sold for over $55million dollars. I thought that this task was really easy because all we had to do was read a text, find interesting facts and then create a blog post. The hardest thing about this was probably finding the interesting facts. One of the things he used to create his art was fewer colors and he used dots. We are learning about Roy Lichtenstein because we are going to do our self portrait next week. Do you know who Roy Lichtenstein is? This is what he looks like and his art:
